Swing club...

So...

a while ago I went to a swinger club in Miami that shall remain nameless [but you know which one I'm talking about if you know Miami, or know swingers clubs] and it was only slightly interesting. But, I Tweeted about it, and apparently some of yall pay attention to my twitter. I said I'd be writing a blog post about it, and I didn't realize I'd be held to that. Here's my blog post about my night at a swingers club.

This was in December, and I did drink [not a lot, honestly, because I wanted my memory to be crisp of my first foray into swinger world] which are my excuses for why this post may be a bit... lacking in details?

My gentleman friend [not a client! I would not be writing about this if it was!] called me up and asked me to come with him, as it's hard for a man to get into a club of this sort alone, even though he is a former NFL player. He'd also never been in this situation before, and I think he needed me specifically because he knows I have a devil may care attitude about alternative lifestyles, and he was a bit nervous. I meet him at his hotel on South Beach, and after a few shots of Patron, and a few mojitos to chase the shots, we're feeling sufficiently Spanish inspired [as one must in Miami]. I get dolled up in one of my dresses I rarely wear outside of appointments [and even then only if they are asked for]. This dress is what I call Spice Girls short, as in it stops approximately half an inch below my butt cheeks and the only things I can do in this dress are stand, lean, or distract men from whatever they were thinking. I put on my heels, my favorite ones, eight inches of mean stiletto [these come in handy later, as the floor was a little...well, wet]

The cab arrives to take us on our way, and when the cabbie hears our destination, he turns, looks me up and down, and winks at my friend. Let's call him James. James says "I know, right..." I did look pretty hot. [this would prove a bit of a mistake]

The club looks pretty nondescript from the outside, maybe a little even... you know, crappy. But, as a former club worker, I know the outside of a place rarely gives you a good insight on how fun the inside will be. I mean, one of my favorite clubs in Atlanta is entered through a garage door into a really gnarly basement, and you're almost guaranteed a great time. So we walk in. The first time you go to this club you have to sign a long disclaimer [of course] and once I'd agreed to give them my first born child [and honestly probably signed something that says I shouldn't be writing this blog post right now, but hey, the ID they have from me on file is under a different name, and I'm not including the name of the club in this post] we were given a tour of the club. Our tour guide was a young guy with a slightly Spanish accent and braids. He was a little short. If you ever go, I hope he is your tour guide. He talks super fast, but he checks with you to make sure you get all the info he is pumping into your brain at lightspeed. He made us completely comfortable, and James, who has 10 years on me and NFL level sexual experience was such a wuss about the whole thing, I'm glad for our tour guide getting him to relax so we could enjoy the night.

The first room we walk into is the club room. The room was pretty empty, but this is the dance floor, and pretty much the only room in the club that is clothing optional [the rest is mandatory towels or nude]. There were two naked girls on one of the small stages alternating between pole dancing, making out, and playing with each other. I stared. James took sneaky glances. I squeezed his hand, trying to make him look. Our tour guide talked.

The next room we are shown to is a locker room where we can change. As I said, towels or nude is the standard of dress. This is also where you stash your phone. For obvious reason they are not allowed. Discretion is paramount.

I only have vague memories of the other rooms, honestly, because of time and alcohol for the evening, but it kind of doesn't matter. There are private rooms with and without windows where others will join you only if they are invited. There are rooms with no doors, both large and small. An orgy room. Maybe there was an outdoor area? A hot tub? Co-ed showers? I'm not certain.

So, we finish our tour and James takes his seat on a couch in the club room, and I dance a little. We only brought a six pack of beer with us, and my dress is too tight for beer so I'm not touching  it. I noticed the eyes on us as we walked through [I mean, I am 24 with GGs and an ass that is debatably great, and he is 6'6" and chocolatey and looks like he used to be a defensive lineman, because well, he did] and these eyes were attached to feet that followed us to the club room.

If it was my sex club, we wouldn't have a building, just a forest slightly lit and raked of pinecones and poison ivy. And maybe a Playboy Mansion style pool with a naughty grotto you have to swim to under a waterfall [that way everyone in the grotto is wet] But alas, this is not my sex club. We were there on perhaps a Tuesday, so as sex clubs go [in my mind], it was rather tame.

The couples that had checked us out approached James while I danced. I love to dance. If there is loud music, dim yet sparkly lighting, and a cheerful environment, I can hardly stop myself. They of course immediately begin to offer us drinks. Very sweet of them [the club is BYOB, a concept foreign to this ATLien] but I'm always hesitant to accept drinks from strangers in a club, especially when it's a fact they want to get me naked [I like to be clearheaded. I don't want to forget the fun stuff. How could I write about it?]
I was new to the idea of "please please fuck my wife" [well, not new to the idea, of course I've heard of cuckold, but I'd never been privy to it in person]. I'm not sure about the size of James's little James [we really are just friends] but considering his physical size, I'm sure this couple made a large assumption.
James is getting shoulder rubs by the lady in the couple and shoots me a look, one I know means he is uncomfortable, so I sit down next to him. I'm immediately flanked by the husband who, of course, can not remove his eyes from my cleavage. But poor James. He's grasping for my hand and I decide this isn't a good way to ease him out of his comfort zone, so I get up, pull him off the couch, say thank you, and walk outside.

Yeah so...rather uneventful. But! I have a membership and shall return. Perhaps next time will be more interesting. At least there will perhaps be more to observe.

escort > dating

I started dating later than most girls I know. I was eighteen when I had my first boyfriend [which is not dating, as we hardly ever went on any dates. Guys my age just want to "hang out" until you're their girlfriend, whatever that means] and after we broke up I was really into the whole idea of playing the field and learning about my interest when it comes to relationships.

Dates are great and terrible all at once. They start with so many pretenses. Both parties tend to drink a bit more than they usually would to make themselves [and the other party] seem more interesting and free spirited. I always felt like I had to hold back telling about myself, because I am a bit of a wild card and being as vibrant as I am only scares a 25 year old man. Dates were always better when the gentleman I was out with was over 30, and more so the older he was. 38-48 year olds were my favorite men to date back when I was on the market, but the problems ensued when they admitted their desire to get married and start a family and I reminded them that I was a head strong 22 year old trying to establish myself on my own before I even thought of that. Being a published author is currently more important to me than being a mother. I think kids are cool, but I don't want to resent children I might have, raising them with the feeling that they are the reason I gave up on my lifelong dream. That would suck for both of us.

Dating is confusing. For the first several dates with guys they would hide things: five dates in is never the right time to find out about a cigarette smoking habit, an ex-wife, a kid or two or three, a felony conviction, a current wife, the fact that they aren't actually legally/gainfully employed. I've never been a cynic, and it was never enough to make me give up on men [as made obvious by my current profession, I love men!] but it was enough to question the classic set up of the American model of dating. They way the first date is a job interview, the second date is to charm them, and the third date means sex. And so you paint your best face on and buy new clothes. The first time they see your house you cleaned for four days. It's all forms of deception and it's senseless if the whole point is to make someone a part of your real life. I mean, are we supposed to continue to fake things for the next 10-25 years [like a prison sentence] until we've had our 2.5 kids, a dog, bought the right house, and then got the trendiest divorce lawyers in the city? And then he get's a sports car and a 21 year old girlfriend, and I get plastic surgery and Eat.Pray.Love? Yeah...I'm not about that life.

Being an escort makes the interaction more straight forward. At dinner we can relax. You've read up about me and know all the details to make the decision that I'm the company you desire. You know more about me than I know about you, so we can spend the evening talking about your life, because you know I genuinely want to learn your story. This makes things ridiculously more relaxed.

In "real life" men lie to women, and pretend they want relationships so they can have sex, and women lie to men and pretend like they only want sex so they can end up in a relationship. Emotional entanglements are confusing, and miscommunication is rampant because everyone is trying to get something they never will say aloud they desire. Being an escort has raised my expectations for how well a man can and will treat me. I know how good things can be now.

When I meet you, it's all excitement on both our parts. We have fun. We play. There is no judgement or hiding faults because why would there be. It is a fantasy, but in my estimation it is more real than the mixed up affair that is dating. Hence the title of this post. Escorting > Dating.

sorry about that...

I’ve been slacking on my blogging lately, so I’ll begin this post with an apology. I have been  asked to keep My tour has been going very well, so life has been a bit busy. I’d just returned from a week’s vacation in New Orleans and immediately got back on the road to here, a windy and cold Philadelphia. In sunny Miami, a special gentleman has given me such a stack of books [two stacks, in fact] that it’s hard to find a moment where I’m not lying in the sun and reading, unwinding, getting the chance to catch up on my proposed book list.

Speaking of my book list, as soon as I'm done typing this, I'll be marking off all the books I've already received. Say you've been looking it over, worrying, wondering which one I don't have so you could bring a
big smile to my face when you come to see me... give me a few minutes and I'll be marking them out for you!

In the past month I've had a great trip to Richmond, DC, Baltimore, New Orleans, and I've enjoyed every bit of my trip nearly equally [I hate cold weather, as I'm sure you know, so of course I can be a bit whiny if I have to go outside at all on a chilly day]

I feel like I'm learning so much about the world through the conversations I've had, the languid liaisons, the new faces. The more time I spend at this, the more I'm gaining a love of providing. I guess it was a bit simpleminded of me in the beginning to think this was a simple career choice, I'm realizing more and more that it is a lifestyle decision. Though my time in appointments is never cut and never ever dry ;) in the beginning I thought that I was a provider, and a gentleman a recipient. These past months have really showed me how much our interaction is reciprocal.

I'm rambling a bit, I'm excited about the new blog post I have in mind, so instead of going on and on about how much I've gleaned lately here, I'll end this now, edit my book list as promised, and get started on the post about all that I have to share with you!

acronyms: a few details

Though, as I state on my site, I am quite wary to use acronyms, as they are far too general [and everyone has their own interpretation of what they mean] and I don't think they accurately describe the personalized attentive service I strive to bring you, clarity is important to me.

I always make jokes about how a true GirlFriend Experience would be me opening the door in sweat pants and hoodie, hair in pigtails, or all matted together, and sleep in my eyes, and snuggling up in bed while I switched back and forth from sleeping, watching Archer, and eating from a melting pint of Ben & Jerry's Everything But The...

I'm more about the dream girl experience. I'm all about the honeymoon experience. I'm the "strangers who met on vacation and immediately clicked" experience. Being with me is absolutely like a vacation. I live outside of the "norm" and I want to take you with me, to a place where there is only happiness and comfort.

Alas, the escorting world is a culture effected by yelp [aka TER] and so, especially being new, I'm asked for something more qualitative in my description, and less conceptual. In effort to preemptively answer any questions you may have about what may or may not occur during our time together [though, as always, feel free to ask me any questions colettecurves@gmail.com, though some questions obviously have to wait until after you have been screened] here is a short list of acronyms that will maybe be a little helpful in your decision of what rate is better suited to ensure your desires are fulfilled. Of course, the time we spend together is ours, and I do not abide by a menu or a check list; nothing is
guaranteed, but it is important to me to fulfill your desires. Anything that occurs in our time together is of course priceless: my rate is for my companionship only, of course.

Hypothetically, a GFE date would include: LFK/DFK, BBBJ, DATY, CFS
and a PSE encounter would include all of the above in addition to: CIM/COF, Greek

If you'd like to give me a back massage, I always love that [big boobs lead to sore shoulders most days]. If you'd like to play with my hair, feel free [but never ever get it wet. EVER]

special rates

I have specials listed here and there on many ad sites, but I thought perhaps I'd compile them for a little more ease. If you made it from an ad, through my main site, and are now on my more extensive blog, you might just deserve a reward for your attentiveness!  [I do love a fastidious gentleman]

  • I offer $50 off for mailing list members for any book on my list of books I'd like to read this year, or any other book on my Amazon wish list. $100 off for the same for appointments 3 hours or longer. You must be on my mailing list to access this rate.
  • $50 off appointments 1.5 hours long or longer for Date-Check or P411 members who book through those sites. Send me an appointment request :)
  • If you'd like to treat me to a music festival, my weekend rate will be halved. We don't have to go together, you can bring me two VIP tickets. I'll attend with my redhead girlfriend if you'd prefer to avoid a giant mudpit filled with odd-smelling hippie kids.
  • Concerts, of course, are one of my favorites. If you'd like me to accompany you to one [*one I was hoping to attend*] my three hour rate will apply, regardless of how long the music continues on :)
  • Follow me on Twitter, if you'd like. I occasional mention things I'd like to do in a specific city, and special rates of course apply for making dreams come true.

Book List, Part 1

As promised, I'm posting a list of all the books I'd like to read next year. I read at a pretty rapid rate, so don't worry, I'll accomplish it! [Especially when I'm at home, in South Florida, I read about ten books a week.]
These are also good suggestions of books to bring to your appointment, in case you can't decide.
I won't claim to know a lot about all of these books, some I've just heard the name of, some were Jeopardy clues I've missed [I hate missing questions on Jeopardy. I feel like Alex is disappointed in me, since he clearly knows all the answers] and some are actually rereads. My list is going to be 200 books long, hence the title of this post. I want to leave it open for a while, so that if you have any suggestions for me, I can add on. Feel free to email me with any suggestions, I love input. Books are the main source of my education. No class, other than life experience, resounds with me more.
Take a look over the list!

different

If I've piqued your interest then its because I am a little different.

In the adult industry, my looks are an alternative to the standard model. There are so many beautiful girls, but as I was told when first looking into escorting, an escort is thin, blonde, and usually with implants.

Though I love Barbie as much (actually probably more) as the next person, her aesthetic is not a mold I fit.Obviously there are a lot of other hair colors and body shapes in the industry, but even with in "the alternative" I'm a bit different.
I'm a little more busty, a little less skinny, a little bigger booty, a little shorter, and of course I'm black. And let's not forget the all important distinguishing feature: my hair.

I have a big wild mane of curls. Tons of ringlets and corkscrews interspersed with waves. People walk up to me on the street and ask to touch my hair. I tell them no, because that is just strange.

But if you ask nicely I'll say yes :)

My hair definitely sets me apart as an escort. Sometimes I do wear it straight, if it makes it easier to blend on a social outing. But I do love my crazy curls. I notice that most African American women in this industry are hesitant to even wear their real hair at all. In looking through advertising sites, I've only found one other lady even somewhat similar to myself. Her name is Bree Drake, and if you're in California go see her! I can't wait to meet her myself when I'm in California later this year.

Looking a little different is polarizing, for sure. This is not a bad thing, in that your interest in me is specific. This makes for better appointments on both our ends. You've been looking for me, and I get to meet you. We have plenty in common, if nothing else but an appreciation for a curvaceous woman and a wild mane. I've more and more realized how special my personal aesthetic really is.

And I'm glad you like it.

wanderlust

I've always had the spirit of a traveler. As a self proclaimed hippie I revel in learning other cultures. It fosters understanding and acceptance. Sharing love is very important to me [obviously ;) ].

Touring is so fun for me. Though I've done some European travelling, I have been slacking on seeing America. There are so many places I've been excited to see, and working as an escort has definitely afforded me the opportunity. I love it when you tell me about hidden gems in your city, and love even more when you invite me to accompany you.

Right now I'm in one of my favorite cities, New Orleans, and because I love it here so much I'm in a great mood. So, I'll tell you a little secret...

Next year I will be doing tours in all 50 states! Almost every major US city will get to feel the warm southern breeze...

Are you excited? I am! Feel free to get on touch if you'd like to know my dates for your location. Preferential booking of course if you contact me in advance (so say you've emailed me, PMed me, tweeted me, anything, already. I'll let you know two weeks in advance that I'm headed your way... And who knows what surprise may be in the email you receive)

I can't wait to see you again.

And if we've yet to had the opportunity to meet... Get ready!

pretty

this one may be a little more for the ladies, but here's a little about how I upkeep my skin/beauty.

My skin is something I get commented on fairly regularly. It's even tone, it's soft texture. It's something I take pride in, and maintenance of it is something that is a daily ritual. When I was a small child my skin was so severely dry it would regularly crack and bleed. Medicated lotions and creams and oatmeal baths helped, but nothing really quelled the painful and irritating symptoms. Of course, when I hit puberty, and my skin got more oily, I leveled out, but I've always had a tomboy streak, so scars still marked my legs and arm from play.

As a girl who loves a mini-skirt, or cute dresses, and in general just is girly and likes to be beautiful, this was not a good thing. But the situation has since been rectified. The women of my family gave me some good advice. [I know there's an old saying that 'Black don't crack' and the women in my family do tend to age well, but just leaving it up to nature and hope isn't enough. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, as they also say]

My skin care regiment is rather simple; tons of water is what I drink. I'm a water-aholic. Of course staying well hydrated is fundamental, especially since I do live in Miami. Eating good fats, like those found in one of my favorite foods, avocado, also helps. When I step out of the shower, I rub my body with cocoa butter from head to toe as much as twice daily.  I like to stay well moisturized. I do also like regular manicures and pedicures.

My hair is a whole separate ordeal, maintaining beautiful natural curls is fun for me, but it is no joke, and deserves a blog post of it's own.

Hotel problems

So sometimes I do dumb stuff. Today wasn't an exception...

When you work out of nice hotels, as I do, you try to check in dressed business casual, are always polite to housekeeping, and in general try not to make waves.

But sometimes your name is Colette and you lock yourself outside on a fire escape leading to an alleyway that is locked for some reason. And that's a little embarrassing.

I was standing there, next to another guest's balcony, dressed in torn jeans and an old hoodie from high school just knowing I looked to homeless to be let back in, in the instance that those guest came out to their balcony, in the rain...

Luckily I brought my phone and wasn't outside for long.

But hey. Airhead stuff I do sometimes.

Here's a pic of my boobs :)

food

Tonight I had a delicious meal, I'm feeling inspired to write about my favorite things to eat.

Dinner dates are always a favorite. Pulling out a great cocktail dress, getting dolled up, putting my heels on. It's so simple, but it's ritualistic, and soothing almost. It's hard to have a bad night when you've had excellent cuisine and drinks. And a man with a refined pallet is attractive to me; so much of my favorite part of escorting are the things I learn by being exposed to well educated, well travelled gentlemen. If you pick my entree when we are out together you will probably earn points in my book. I think it's charming, and I'm not a picky eater, so I'll enjoy it. If I'm in your town it's an assured way to get a great meal, because you know better than I would what will impress at your favorite local spot.
I'm very into all types of Latin food. Being from Georgia [and half a Texan] Mexican food reigns supreme when it comes to Latin food, for me, especially authentic restaurants, and kitschy fusion restaurants [yes deep fried avocado please.] But now that I live in Miami, I'll say Colombian food is great, and I've always had a love of Cuban food.
I'm also big on beef. Love a great steak! Ted Turner has a great little chain that's of course all over Atlanta called Ted's Montana Grill, where I got my first taste of bison, and that's definitely worth trying. Bison is like the better beef. Love a bison filet.
My diet though, in general, of my own choosing I usually describe as mostly vegan, except steak and bacon. I love vegetables more than any other one type of food, and do tend to gravitate toward them when cooking.  I also love pineapples, they're probably my favorite food.

I do have a food allergy! If you would like to take me out to dinner, I do tend to ask where first, as a precaution. I don't mind being surprised, because in general at every restaurant I can find food I can eat, but sometimes it can cause an issue.
Let's go to dinner, darling. I'm great company.

And dessert is better than anything they serve in any restaurant ;)

thanks!

I've only been an escort for a short few months but I have definitely met my share of great people, both gentlemen and other ladies.

When I meet with you, you are kind, polite, attentive, and interesting. I've heard great stories [and lovely compliments] I've learned a lot from you, and it's been fascinating. Every day has been a great day and a learning experience worth having.

I love the books I've been given! I've been reading them all snuggled up in bed...

I'll leave you with one of my favorite songs. I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed you!

love

I  in general am not a pop listener, my music taste are more into strange hippie folky bands that may surprise you... But the exception to the rule is Miss Britney Spears. This year she is at Planet Hollywood in Vegas doing shows. Feel like an extended date and a trip to Vegas? We can do that. I'll in fact do that at a discounted rate. A severely discounted rate. My ticket to Vegas, tickets to the show, and of course my hotel cost will get you three days at my overnight rate. What? All of that for so little? I won't even make you watch Britney with me [even though you'll be missing out on a pop spectacle of epic proportions.]

meeting me

My perfect date starts well before my smiling face opens the door for you.  It starts with initial contact.

As I fancy myself a writer [an aspiring one at best, but a writer nevertheless] I love a well written initial message. If you've read my blog, follow me on twitter, are on my mailing list reading my letters, don't hesitate to mention it when you get in touch for a date. As a woman, I am susceptible to flattery, and knowing you've explored all of the content I've put online and checked me out and just had to have me I can't say I'm not flattered. A woman never gets tired of being told she's beautiful. No matter how she may protest and act demure. And a beautiful girl never gets tired of being noticed as intelligent as well.

The quality of your initial message is directly correlated to how much you'll enjoy our time together. Simple messages usually elicit a simple response from me. Our interaction is far more than physical, and I like to email back and forth, and perhaps exchange phone calls if possible before we meet. I'm a fantasy for you before you even get in touch with me, and I want a chance to have an idea of you in my head so you can be a fantasy for me as well. I want to spend the week leading up to our meet dreaming of what will happen.

What interested you in me? How can I make you happy? What do you do to unwind and escape? I want to be part of that. Beyond fitting into the picture of happiness you hold in your mind, I want to reflect the ideas you have back to you, and expand upon them. I want to fully involve and distract your mind. Letting me get to know you a little before our initial meet up allows me to be a little more creative and better tailor your experience. Simple things like having a drink you like, to more complicated things like hair styles. I'm a barefoot hippie, but would you prefer I answer the door in heels?

P411 and Date-Check do allow for you to fill out profiles with this information, but say you don't have one, or yours isn't filled out, you can whisper all these things to me previous to our meeting.

As with all relationships, the key to happiness is communication. You're reading this, so that means you're listening to me, [well, reading, but you get what I'm saying] and will be a pleasure to be around; you are attentive. Communicate about yourself to me, in turn! I'm excited to get to know you.

happy ☺

I was a wild little kid.

The house I grew up in bordered a forested area I'd cut through and after a short walk be creekside. A mile by the creek would lead to the river, where I'd spent many days. Days riverside, I'd bring a book and a notebook, and sit and read and write. I had a grey and black tabby and sometimes he'd come with me, sitting with me for a while, then running off into the trees to play. He'd usually be back to walk home with me.

One early summer some of the neighbor boys and I put up a tire swing, and on especially hot days, the book would be forgotten for taking long swings into the river and sunning my clothes dry out on the rocks. I was always barefoot. We'd get clay off the river banks and make sad attempts at pottery that always turned into mud fights and crazy clay stuck all in my curls.

The Georgia sun is wonderful, and the sounds of the water rushing and the cicadas are the most soothing sounds to me still. We used to eat the mulberries right off the trees, and I'd go home with my fingers stained red and purple, and the pages I wrote too.

I think these perfect southern summer days are the reason that warm weather and nature make me so happy. I can't lie. I live in South Florida now, and this is in part because when the weather drops below 75 I start getting chilly, and when it's below 65, I no longer want to go outside [though I can be tempted during the fall for hikes in the mountains because, I mean, who can help by love the changing foliage] I love the sun on my skin, the wind in my  hair, the rain even.

I love soft grass and being barefoot in it. But hence the barefoot hippie title.

Get outdoors and climb a tree or something ;)
Get happy!

work

There's a lot of fun to be had doing this job, but being an escort is a job nevertheless. The fun begins once an appointment is made, but getting to that point is a crash course in internet marketing and self promotion.

Site maintenance is key. Obviously it's important for you to be able to find out about me and answer any questions to find out if I'm the girl you're looking for. Or say we've already met, I'm sure you might want to peep out my pics when you think of me. So I do my best to update the info on my site and my pictures so that it's easy to keep tabs on my ever evolving journey into the world of sex work.

Today I'm going to try to fix my mailing list. A few gentlemen have told me they have been having issues getting signed up, and that's no good! I haven't sent out any official mailing list goodies yet, but once I get it up and running  my mailing list will offer VIP client perks. And of course sweet messages from me with a little more personal info. Oh! and candid shots... I'm a selfie junkie, or so I'm told. [It's not vanity, it's the documentarian spirit in me. I have been in customer service in one way or another since I started working [well, except for a stint as a go-go dancer. That was for me :)] and I know how important it is for me to communicate.

The written part of being an escort is much more intensive than one might think. I for sure was surprised. There's much more than taking some pictures and posting some rates. As my service is more personal, I want you to know me before we even meet [hence, the blog, the twitter, the site]. I am very conversational, and I want to know that you'll enjoy your time with me. So I write and I write so that you have plenty to choose from of what to read to know me. Half of escorting is sitting in front of the computer typing, like I'm doing right now. Emails to write, ads to post, site editing, blog entering [entrying? lol].

Luckily, I've always been an aspiring writer and majored in journalism, so my skills were easily converted.

This upcoming week keep checking back, I know I haven't been blogging regularly, what with being home the past several weeks, and the laziness that relaxing inspires... but this week I'll be blogging daily, so keep up with me on my tour through Louisiana! [I attended college here, so who knows you might get to read a drunken entry before I delete in since I have plans with my college roommate, and we always get into trouble]

my favorite things

"Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings..."

Musicals are for sure a favorite thing of mine. In fact I love music in almost any form.  The symphony makes me overwhelmed with emotion [I began my classical piano training at the age of four]. Concerts are my addiction, I've in fact been to nearly 700 and have a goal to make it to 1000  by the time I'm 30. Music festivals are one of my summer indulgences, my favorite being Bonnaroo, though it is very very large and that is a deterrent for many people, the environment is wonderful. I've met probably the kindest and most interesting  people in my life every time I've been.

Physically, I love massages. Love. I have constant sore muscles due to a rather large cup size [you might have noticed] and a good back massage goes a long way with me. I love being pampered! I could live life in a warm tub with great scents and bubbles and a nice glass of gin [Hendricks is my favorite, but I also love Tanqueray, especially Tanqueray Rangpour] Like most ladies, a trip to a great spa puts me in the best of moods for days after the event.

Outside is my favorite place. At this time of year, a hike through the forest is wonderful. Who doesn't love beautiful foliage. I am more about warmer weather, being southern and all. But the mountains in the fall is amazing. I spent many good times in childhood in mountain cabins in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia.  Come spring, I can always go for a rafting trip! It's been a while since I've done one, and rivers/creeks are my favorite bodies of water. I spent a summer [some years ago] learning white water kayaking, and it's definitely something I'm looking to get into more regularly.

I love going out to eat. My life before this was spent bartending and serving, and if there is one thing working in the food service industry teaches you, it is an appreciation of a great meal. My favorite restaurants tend to be the funky cool ones that do a twist on traditional American food, or fusion restaurants that combine American food with taste of a different culture. I am the least picky eater ever [I do have one food allergy that I will alert you to if you're asking me to dinner] and I love trying new things no matter how strange! Brew pubs also tend to be a favorite place of mine. and of course I can't lie, I love a great burger. But I am from Atlanta, and we have the best burger spot in the world, so I don't go for one too much other than when I'm in that town. Beer is something I love learning about, and trying new and different craft brews is something I get very into from time to time [not too often! don't want a beer gut lol] If I'm in your city, bring me a six pack of something great and local!

If you're a gentleman who'd like to participate in any of the above with me, an extended date rate would come with a significant price deduction! [first of all, you're paying enough attention to me to read through this long blog entry, and second, I'm getting to do something I'd want to do anyway!]

here's a more simple format, say you didn't want to read all that, but you're still interested in playtime doing one of my favorite things,

A list of Colette's favorite things:
3. Concerts [help me get to my 1000 concert goal! my dinner date rate will be reduced, and yet we can have dinner before or after, and still 2 hours playtime.]
4. Books! if you've read my site, you know I ask for my donation tucked in a book. I love literary fiction and biographies the most. Bring me anything.
5. Spa Days
6. Weekend getaways in mountain cabins

and of course, if you need a suggestion, here's a link to my Amazon Wish List!

therapy

if you ask the average girl,  I'd think she'd call herself a therapist.
regardless if she's BDSM, GFE, DTF, ANNOYING ACRONYM HERE, we're in the business of quelling desire and curing souls.

Strangers tend to love to tell me their life stories.

I've always had one of those faces, I guess. It's a family problem. Well, maybe problem is the wrong word, but it's a common trait. All my cousins say the same thing happens to them:

It's part of why I knew that being an escort would be something I might just be good at. And part of why I was interested in the idea of being a sex worker. [and why GFE is my absolute title]

I've been in the grocery store with full bitchface on [tough girl make up and an angry expression], and a sweet old lady will tell me everything that happened to her since 1942, just to mention she likes my eyeliner. I don't know what I did to deserve this.

it's kind of a good thing. as an aspiring writer, I guess it's kind of bread and butter for me. I mean, how can I tell a story if I have no stories to tell?  I've always been a pretty shitty liar.

It's not that I have a bad imagination, it's just that truth is stranger than fiction. Half the shit that's happened to me in my life, you wouldn't believe anyway. too sensational. don't ask. I mean, I might tell you if we've met a few times, but otherwise... shit's a little too crazy

I think in order to be a good GFE escort, you have to be a good listener, with a long memory. You have to be the type of person that people feel comfortable around, and feel comfortable telling secrets and intimate details to. I haven't been working for very long and I've noticed that. I have always been a caretaker type, and I always get vibes from guys who contact me that they got the nurturing sweet girl vibe from me, and that's part of why they're into me.

They're right. I'm that girl. I love knowing people. I love hearing about other walks of life. I love to cook for people, and nurse their pain. [Not like, sickness, because I'm squeemish, but like, emotional sickness, because.. I guess I know a little about loneliness]

like some of my old bar guest, they just want to get away for a while, have an ear. I feel that. everyone needs an outlet. it's a bit lonely knowing you're talking and no one is listening. no one hears you, no one cares. For years of my life, my only outlet was journaling, and that's like screaming with no sound. Silence. It's cathartic, but it doesn't do anything to quell the feeling of isolation.

I've long been the friend to come to when you needed an ear, good advice, or just wanted a back massage in silence to get away from life and circumstances. I'm a pretty good source of distraction, if I do say so myself.

my theme song

I'm thinking Brittney came out with "Work Bitch" just for me, since it came out just as I made a decision to be a working girl....

fucking

Ever since deciding to become a sex worker, I've done a lot less fucking. that sounds bad, or good, depending on who you are. for me... I don't know. It's definitely made me crave sex a lot more than I used to. not that I didn't used to crave sex. it's just I can say that previous to deciding to be a sex worker and going on tour, I was in my home town... with all that goes with that... but I'll get to that a bit later

I have so much to say about fucking, fuckery, wild crazy sex, that I'm finding myself speechless.
Sex has been high on  my list of favorite activities since the first time I did it a few weeks after my 18th birthday.

I think waiting to lose my virginity for so long [I'm from the South, most girls my age had been married with kids for ten years by the time I had my first kiss as a high school graduate] let me be more open minded sexually, and also let me formulate questions. By the time I had my first boyfriend/sexual partner, I was ready to go down a list of things I'd though about but literally never had the chance to try. Simple shit, like a blow job. Complicated shit, like riding a man like a cowgirl when a little drunk and off balance [that can end badly, I've heard crazy emergency room bouncing too hard broken penis stories, but I probably grew up around too many emergency medical professionals...] various yoga positions [years of dance lessons left me very flexible]... Never too much into kink/bdsm, I guess it's just the hippie/naturalist in me. Always loved the realness of just two naked people and never liked the idea of props and toys. [to this day I've never owned a sex toy] I just want to kiss and touch.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I've always been into some hair pulling, ass smacking, wild crazy, multiple positions and locations, wet and dirty, alert the neighbors fucking. I'm just not too into being tied up, or anything like that. for me, I don't like the idea of sex and punishment being tied together. I feel like sex should be a celebration. or a time to unwind. a release. A plethora of good feelings. I'm not into leather and whips. I'm more into sex on a picnic blanket by a river. [there's a reason I call myself hippie bombshell. I'm a hippie. fuck shoes!] But, with that, I'm very open minded, so if introduced to something crazy in a way I could handle, I could probably get down with it.

I mean, that's how I got into back door action. it took time, but my ex was very polite, [and prepared with plenty of lubricant, both of the personal and alcoholic varieties]. He really really wanted a three ring circus.

maybe it helps that I have a very sex positive attitude [and considering a woman's most sexual organ is her mind] I've pretty much achieved an orgasm every time I've even fooled around a bit. but I know that isn't the norm. I read statistics for fun like every other former academic super nerd.

See, pre-sex worker Colette always had, shall we say, a long-term FWBs. I guess I was too busy busting my ass in restaurants/bars/clubs after I was done with school, or maybe just too footloose, fancy free, and young to commit to much more than a sexual relationship, after my first long term and serious emotional liaison with a man... I wanted the freedom to explore different facets of my personality and date, but I also wanted guaranteed great sex. So, I would link up with friends [not like, good friends, but guys who I knew through the social grapevine] who were equally as noncommittal, and make a simple agreement that we could call one another when the need arose.

The arrangement was good, in most cases. But, like they always say, it can never last for long. After several beautiful months of random mornings before work, rainy afternoons, and late nights of tiptoeing through houses as not to wake the roommies, it would always happen. the inevitable. the cool chill guy I knew who was too busy with his career, his life, his whatever to make time for relationship building would turn girly on me, and want me to make a lot more promises. I think it's because I can cook. or maybe it's because I give a great back massage [aka blow job]. I don't know what it is. but no matter how much I kept the relationship physical, they'd always fancy themselves in love. and I'd swear they hardly knew me.

sex shouldn't be so complicated. this is part of the reason I made the decision to become an escort. In this industry, I feel like, for the most part, both parties are extremely straightforward. I honestly enjoy the company of a well rounded and established man. I honestly enjoy helping someone forget their worries, at least for a little while [I'm a Cancer, and very nurturing, and sometimes even give really good advice!] I honestly enjoy learning from someone older and wiser. I honestly enjoy uninhibited sexual experiences. and the gentlemen who meet me honestly enjoy a curvy, busty, chocolate, sweet, feisty, smart, funny, hottie.

so I'm here, still anticipating my first review so that I am able to get on a few more sites, and maybe into a meet and greet I hear is going down soon. because not having sex often was not exactly my plan when I decided to be a sex worker. in fact the opposite. half of the fun is fucking.
