food

Tonight I had a delicious meal, I'm feeling inspired to write about my favorite things to eat.

Dinner dates are always a favorite. Pulling out a great cocktail dress, getting dolled up, putting my heels on. It's so simple, but it's ritualistic, and soothing almost. It's hard to have a bad night when you've had excellent cuisine and drinks. And a man with a refined pallet is attractive to me; so much of my favorite part of escorting are the things I learn by being exposed to well educated, well travelled gentlemen. If you pick my entree when we are out together you will probably earn points in my book. I think it's charming, and I'm not a picky eater, so I'll enjoy it. If I'm in your town it's an assured way to get a great meal, because you know better than I would what will impress at your favorite local spot.
I'm very into all types of Latin food. Being from Georgia [and half a Texan] Mexican food reigns supreme when it comes to Latin food, for me, especially authentic restaurants, and kitschy fusion restaurants [yes deep fried avocado please.] But now that I live in Miami, I'll say Colombian food is great, and I've always had a love of Cuban food.
I'm also big on beef. Love a great steak! Ted Turner has a great little chain that's of course all over Atlanta called Ted's Montana Grill, where I got my first taste of bison, and that's definitely worth trying. Bison is like the better beef. Love a bison filet.
My diet though, in general, of my own choosing I usually describe as mostly vegan, except steak and bacon. I love vegetables more than any other one type of food, and do tend to gravitate toward them when cooking.  I also love pineapples, they're probably my favorite food.

I do have a food allergy! If you would like to take me out to dinner, I do tend to ask where first, as a precaution. I don't mind being surprised, because in general at every restaurant I can find food I can eat, but sometimes it can cause an issue.
Let's go to dinner, darling. I'm great company.

And dessert is better than anything they serve in any restaurant ;)
